RAISING FUNDS FOR THE LIBRARY
ReadingOur fundraising activities can provide funds to purchase books, books on tape and CD, videos, periodicals, reference materials, furniture, landscaping, outdoor furniture, special programs, regular occurring calendar library events and so much more.
 
  • Story Telling TimeWe fund the children's summer program. The 2001 year drew an average of 170 children each week to the summer programs.
     
  • We provide all the craft materials for the weekly storytimes.
     
    Craft Time

  • Friends provide direct financial assistance for the library for many items and special programs that are not provided for through the City of Katy or Harris County budgets.
     
  • The Friends of the Katy Library is incorporated and a non-profit organization under 501(c)3. All contributions are tax deductible.
